WPA-2 not supported as advertised?

And here’s Reason #12 for the list in the story below: We just recieved an email from rSYN, and let me tell you – he is NOT happy! Despite saying so on the box and the manual, the Xbox 360 Wireless Adaptor does NOT support WPA-2 security. He’s so angry about it, that he’s created a website describing his frustration.
I listened to the Major Nelson podcast #153. Where the Xbox connectivity project manager was interviewed. I forgot his name but he gave his gamertag, Delta4. My buddy fired off an in game message to Delta4 with a quick question. “Are you aware that WPA2 doesn’t work with the xbox360 wireless game adapter?” He is the project manager, right? He should be aware of this issue hopefully. The answer came back soon after. “We are aware that WPA2 is not supported by the Xbox360 Wireless adapter and that is by design”
Here’s what the Wireless Adaptor manual says on page 10:
Enable wireless security on your router or access point. Your wireless networking adapter supports WPA-2, WPA, and WEP security. When you enable wireless security, you establish a key that ?encrypts? the data being wirelessly transmitted so that it is decipherable only by computers with the same key. Furthermore, WPA and WPA-2 automatically change keys on a frequent basis, making your system more secure.
