New Dynasty Warriors Coming to PSP

Gba_dynastywarrior_logo_001Koei will be continuing the Dynasty Warriors series on the PSP. The company announced today Shin Sangoku Musou 2nd Evolution (Dynasty Warriors Evolution) for Japanese PSP release in March>

2nd Evolution is a sequel to the first PSP entry in the Dynasty Warriors series, which launched with the system in Japan back in December of 2004. Using that game as a base, Koei has upped up the volume and added a host of new features. The game promises over 300 generals.

New for this update is a stage branching system. Based on your actions, you’ll take a different path through a given stage. The number of stages has increased considerably over the original.

The game also adds a new horse customization feature. You can now customize your horse with various parts and colors.

Dynasty Warriors felt somewhat rushed at its release. The sequel supports true wide screen and adds four player wireless play, two features that were lacking in the original.

Koei has yet to announce 2nd Evolution for stateside release, but with Samurai Warriors on the way, you can bet this one will follow in the near future.
