Dissidia Duodecim Prologus features a story mode starring Lightning and Warrior of Light. It also has an arcade mode with an eight-character roster. It will have its own Accomplishments and rewards.

Aside from giving players a head start (Prologus saves carry over to Duodecim) and a taste of the full game, Prologus is also the only way to acquire Aerith in Dissidia Duodecim

Prologus was released in Japan last month shortly after Square Enix's January conference. Square Enix has yet to announce when it will be released outide Japan, but it seems that date will be soon.

The Australian Classification Board's website shows that they have already reviewed and rated the downloadable demo. The U.S. ESRB doesn't have it on their site yet, but the fact that it has already been reviewed by Australia's own classification body is a good sign.

A Western release for Prologus was confirmed earlier this month by a representative from SCEE. Responding to a comment on the EU PlayStation Blog, SCEE PS Store Manager Ross McGrath stated that Prologus' European release will be on the same day as the U.S. release.

A specific release date and price point have yet to be announced. Prologus was available in Japan as a paid download for JP¥ 300.

While we wait for the official word from Square Enix or Sony, here's a rather long video of Prologus' Story Mode.
