SylphIRC Version 0.05 Released
If you’ve been wondering why the awesome IRC Client for the DS hasn’t been updated in a while, well, developer Ficedula‘s just been taking some time off. The good news is that his hibernation led to the release of a new version of SylphIRC.
Here’s the changelog:
- Fixed PMs going into wrong window
- Added “Open PM” command – open a new PM window to a user
- (Hacky) fixed case sensitivity issues on channel names etc. (for the moment, puts everything in lower case)
- Source released
For those who want to dig deeper into the app, Ficedula has made the source available. It contains the “SylphDS” source (all generic code), the SylphIRC code specifically written for this app, plus Chism’s GBA/NDS FAT libraries. You’ll also need at least v0.3 of the Wi-Fi libraries installed to build it. Some parts of the source are messy, but as always, Ficedula welcomes suggestions and comments.
