Don’t you just love special editions of things? So much more special than normal editions of things which are, I think you’ll all agree, too boring. They should release special editions of everything from now on. Anyway, enough ranting about how special special editions are, check out these first details of a Resident Evil: Deadly Silence special edition. It really is special…

In Japan, where the game comes out on the 19th January 2006, it is already available for preordering. Anyone interested will find that it will also come with many extra freebies such as a DS strap with the colors of the S.T.A.R.S. team, and a DS Binder to protect your DS. At the pre-order price of 7.329 yen, which is about 50 Euros or £33, you would get all of that as well as the limited box set, which Capcom released a mock up of yesterday.

For now here’s some screenshots of the package, and as soon as they’re available, we will get some shots of the free strap and binding protector.
