Sad news PSP fans. After 10 years and over 76million units being sold it looks like Sony has officially and finally shifted all of its attention to the PSP' successor the PlayStation Vita stopping production of its original portable gaming device by years end. Although not unexpected the announcement is still sure to leave some die hard fans feeling a little upset and also signals what we can assume to be the final nail in the coffin for its once booming with activity mod and hack scene that has been in decline in recent years.
If you're still looking to pick one up you are probably better off trying to find one online or at a pawn shop because despite the fact that Sony is just now making this announcement, PSP shipments have already ended in North America as of January and will end this month in Japan and later this year in Europe.
So let us take moment and remember all of the good times we've had with our PSP's over the years and maybe even dust them off and relive some of these days gone bye by playing some of our favorite games for the days of the UMD.
