Paul McCartney, he's one of the last remaining Beatles in case you've been sleeping under a rock or something, is going to be putting out the Destiny theme as a single. It'll be out after the game releases on September 9th.

Sir Paul worked with composer Marty O'Donnell on Destiny's score. The New York Times says that the score was recorded at the iconic Abbey Road studios with a 120-piece orchestral ensemble. Giles Martin, son of Beatles producer George Martin, directed the score and Mark Stent, who has worked previously with Bjork, U2, Lady Gaga, and others, will produce. "Hope" is said to be the theme of the score.

You may remember Marty O'Donnell from his not-so-amicable split with Bungie months ago. O'Donnell actually ended up suing Bungie for unpaid wages and got $95,000 out of the settlement.

Well, it's about time this Paul McCartney guy did something with his life.
