Home Windows Users Will Update Their OS Whether They Will Like It Or Not
Microsoft has announced that the upcoming new update of Windows (Windows 10) will be mandatory for all users. All Windows 7 and 8 users will be expected to have their OS updated to Windows 10 without a choice or any confirmation, just accepting the agreement for continued usage. The update is expected to be available on July 29, 2015, and it will have notifications popping up to assure that the update will begin. Nevertheless, Microsoft promised that the update will be a lot better than the previous ones, especially the security system. In addition, this new update will be completely free. There are also new features that are vital for the new software that Microsoft will offer and these softwares will not be compatible with previous versions of Windows.
Moreover, the mandatory update will only be available for home users, and the Enterprise Edition will have the choice as to whether or not they will update their system. Even so, Microsoft still encourages Enterprise Edition users to update to the new Windows 10 (Build 10240) which consist of new features that will enhance the overall usage of the system.
One of the downsides to this update is that you cannot choose a specific time frame to download this update as it will be downloaded automatically. In other words, people who have a cap to their internet connection will see this as troublesome. In addition, the chances of cancelling the terms to install the update will definitely be not an option. So for Microsoft Windows users; all you can do for now is to take note of the update release and check it out after your systems will automatically be updated.
