DGEN for PSP v1.0 Released

Syn-z has released a new version of his popular Sega Genesis/Megadrive emulator for the PSP, version 1.0. The Mega Drive was released in Japan in October 29, 1988 for 21,000 yen ($185US). U.S. sales began on January 9, 1989 in New York City and Los Angeles with a suggested retail price of $200 USD at launch. It was released in the rest of North America on September 15 with the price reduced slightly to $190. Changes in this release include (thanks for the translation google):

– Fixed a bug that appeared between 0.93 and 0.95
– Fixed a freeze bug when you put PSG to OFF
– Fixed a lot of games
– Fixed a bug that made the sound weird after a state load
– Fixed that when you changed soundsettings (samplingrate), the sound became strange
– Sound quality improvements
– Performance improvements

Currently, this emulator will only run on PSPs with firmware version 1.0 or 1.50. If you do not know which firmware version your PSP has, or if you need help installing this application/game on your PSP, check one of our many informative FAQs.
