Xbox Live is truly a great online gaming experience. With its unified servers and integrated setup, there's no question that Microsoft's service very quietly bests the options given to us by Nintendo and Sony. Still, there is that one little nagging feature that does set XBL apart from the competition in that it does cost money to subscribe. To a lot of people, that $60 fee is an easy and worthwhile investment, but  it is true that some of us simply cant afford to pay that much for service. I wish I completely understood what was going on here, but honestly I'm probably just as caught off guard as you are.
