Coming to your TV screens this week, a brand new pre-Beta release trailer for Battlefield 3
The marketing campaign behind DICE's game has been fantastic. Modern Warfare 3 hasn't really stepped up their game too as I haven't really seen anything new or stunning since the Blops trailers featuring chubby girls and basketball players to the tune of Rolling Stone, which rocked our screens last year.
DICE has remained focused to showing in-game footage and quick shots of the most action packed sequences. I will have to say that Battlefield is known more for it's multiplayer than anything else, so a focus on, what looks like the Campaign, in this trailer is good. It gets people excited like what gets people for the average CoD game.
I know I often may seem more biased in my posts towards BF than CoD but I can tell you now, I've played more Blops in the last month than Bad Company 2 and I actually own the latter. The personal preference is that the upcoming games really show two different sides, as DICE is going for more of a gameplay appeal, as the realistic appeal, which they showed with the abysmal Medal of Honor, did not particularly work. Still both games will sell like mad and CoDElite will probably be the new face of social gaming before the year is through....I'm just saying I know where the money is versus I know where my money is going and it starts with a B, not a C.
