No Battlefield 3 Squad Management During Gameplay? |

One of the best features of “Battlefield: Bad Company 2” is the ability to create, join and leave squads during gameplay. In addition to giving players the option of making a quick private squad with friends, the Leave/Join mechanism makes it easier for solo players (like me) to jump into a random game and immediately start assisting the team.

Squad play and management is largely what sets the “Battlefield” series apart from “Call of Duty,” which has always been much more of a chaotic rush for kills than an organized objective-taking experience. According to Daniel Matros, community manager for DICE, in-game squad management is now a thing of the past.
From Twitter:
“Voice chat and squadding will be on the Battlelog side of things.”
While this is far from an absolute confirmation that players won’t be able to edit squads during games, it certainly reads that way. Many “BF3” gamers on Twitter are upset about the news, and Matros hasn’t made a move to clear up any possible misconception, so at the moment it looks like we’ll all be making extensive use of Battlelog.
For those out of the loop, Battelog is a web-based stats and social media hub similar in theory to the community site Bungie built for “Halo” fans. You’ll be able to interact with other players, view personal statistics, compare your stats to top-tier players and now, presumably, create and manage your squads. While this certainly doesn’t seem like the most convenient way to conduct an activity that worked perfectly well in the game, we do have to remember that “Battlefield 3” is in beta and things can still change.
On the plus side, there are rumors that Battlelog will be headed to your smartphone, allowing you to check in on stats and edit squads from anywhere you pick up a signal.

In poor word they have heard the community voice, and they are discussing about implementing the squad management in-game.
We can only wait and pray
