Almost definitely an attempt to kick off a bigger storm of BS than the San Andreas Bigfoot malarkey, Jason Johnson of Kill Screen has recently made a post regarding ghosts and the paranormal in Red Dead Redemption; his claims of paranormal activity come near the end of his lengthy post about his skepticism of ghosts (although I think he heavily misses the point surrounding the belief of ghosts in videogames entirely, and goes on to question how and why a virtual space could and would be haunted).

At the end of his talk about there being no evidence of ghosts, he explains his encounter with ‘ghostly men [in] gentlemen’s attire’ who tell him ‘You’re going to die’, before…dying. He also mentions voices in the old mansion in Tumbleweed, and seeing a pale figure standing in blackness.

Why should we pay any attention to this? Well first up, it’s Kill Screen, not a grammar-free Youtube comment from an 11 year old. But also because the various aspects of his encounter are individually plausible and have been encountered many times before, like a burst of bats he claims burst from the ceiling (at that point I called BS on his story, but 10 seconds of research showed that bats to indeed appear twice a day exclusively at the mansion).
