Zombie lead designer: Activision's a jerk for coming up with CoD: Elite |

This someone is no other than Zombie Studios' lead designer, Jared Gerritzen. "I don't agree with it," he bluntly told Gamasutra in an interview. "Right now, if they could, they'd charge 60 bucks, then 20 bucks a month for a map pack - or even just one map - and then US$ 9 to upload game movies to YouTube."
"They see this massive fan base, and why aren't they spending that money and evolving the game even more?" In his opinion, while the franchise in itself is "amazing," the sad fact of the matter is that Activision has not really pushed the envelope insofar as the last four titles are concerned. That's subtle for saying that CoD is just a one-title-hit-franchise, if you think about it.
"That's the sad part. Think about if they tried to spend that money that they're trying to milk from the fans. It's sad. It's really weird. But there's always going to be that guy; there's always going to be the jerk."
Gerritzen is the lead designer for the upcoming shooter, Blacklight: Retribution. Activision has recenlty released an FAQ to shed some light on the new service that will be coming in Elite. For their part, Activision has admitted that they will have to make sure they get Elite right, given that it is a big risk to take.

iif us gamers let this happen other companies will follow just imagine COD 64$ 5or15$ month, plus 15$ map pack then madden 20$ month nba2k 20$ hell companies charging u 2 play. u got 5or 10 new games at 64$ plus 5or15$ just 2 play the full game wtf let elite fail let it fail.
we us gamers made what these companies r an this how they repay us, Oo i can buy it for64$ but i have 2 pay more each month just get the full game experience plus map packs.
look 360 users an ps3 users but really 360 lets break it down, xbl $59.99 for 12-Months, $24.99 for 3-Months $9.99 for 1-Month plus 64$ COD plus 5or15$ a month elite plus 15$ map pack daaaaaam thats the cost of a game u could have bought or games hell food gas etc now with that said imagine other companies charging as i just said. 4got u have 2 pay ur internet bill 30 or 60$ a month really how dare COD franchise do that 2 us we made y'all not the other way around.
are gamers smart are gamers goin 2 let companies do this, start a new trend on how we game an what about this u pay 4 all that guess what u r goin2 have lagg because it will happen ur internet not working,glitche rs, cheaters,people wit slow internet, servers down etc.. let me ask u this im lying
