Xbox Event Domain Gets Registered. Is The Xbox 720 Announcement On The Way? |

Sony beat Microsoft to the next-gen punch with its PlayStation 4 event this past week. Is Microsoft that far behind, or does the recently registered Xbox Event domain mean that they have something up their sleeves?

U.S. Techs, an event management company that now goes by the name of Eventcore, registered the XboxEvent.com domain on Thursday. If the past is any indication, this is significant. Why? According to NeoGAF forum members, U.S. Techs is the same company behind Microsoft’s 2013 Hosting Summit and other Xbox domains.
At this time, XboxEvent.com doesn’t amount to anything in terms of an informative site you can visit, but that’s bound to change in the near future. Regarding the domain, a Microsoft rep told GameSpot, “Microsoft often acquires various domain names as part of its ongoing business strategy, but beyond that we have no comment.”
So, when can we expect Microsoft to unveil the next Xbox? Nothing’s set in stone, but reports have said that an Xbox 720 event is likely in April.

Sony's conference was boring to say the least, for me it had some awesome games demo's & what the PS4 is capable of doing is staggering, how its going to achieve quick downloads is clever.
But that was within 30 mins max, the rest of the conference 1 hour 30 mins plus, bored me to tears.
