Joystiq has recently rated the fan noise of the Xbox 360 in comparison of other consoles and computers (and one loud clunky refrigerator). Here is was their observation:

- Dell Latitude C610 (Laptop)

We don’t have an original Xbox to test it against, or we would. Water-cooling mod, anyone?

im sitting in front of one, and when i put call of duty 2 its the loudest fan in my house..my new powerbook is about 300x quiter then this thing.
