It goes without saying that if you’re releasing a popular game, you almost have to create an additional collector’s edition with some extra goodies. This is certainly the case for The Witcher 2, which is scheduled to hit the Xbox 360 on April 17. The Dark Edition, which runs a relatively fair $79.99, is packed with the accoutrements we’ve come to expect from collector’s edition boxes.
Here’s what you’ll get with the Dark Edition version of the game:
- World map
- Quest book
- Making-of DVD
- Soundtrack
- Stickers
- Art book
- Wolf head medallion
Pretty standard fare for a CE. Art book, soundtrack, some sort of game-related trinket. But that’s not all! Depending on where you pre-order the Dark Edition, you’ll also receive some of the following loot:
- Comic book
- Two wolf head t-shirts
- Medallion keychain
- Xbox Live Avatars
- Avatar pet
