What's a Dawnguard? Hell If I Know... |

We knew we'd be getting an announcement regarding DLC for Skyrim this week because of a tweet from Pete Hines - and we did - but all we got was the picture above and that it would be called Dawnguard. And that it would be out this summer sometime and there would be more details at E3. That's it.
So without a trailer or any other sort of explanation, the speculation is pretty rampant. Someone already discovered some info in the files of the recent patch that eludes to Snow Elves and possible a new companion with the initials "RF." Fans are speculating that the glowing eyes in the pic denotes some sort of demonic inclusion and maybe the return of the Daedra from previous Elder Scrolls games. Others have concluded that the name "Dawnguard" may allude to some sort of defense of Dawnstar (against the falmer?). Other have said it may have something to do with the Heart of Lorkhan.
