Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is finally walking the talk, having its first actual footage released to the public.

The video was taken off Konami's showfloor from E3 a couple of weeks back. It runs for a solid two and a half minute (no pun intended), and it sure is a meaty two and a half minutes, that's for sure.

Back in April, Konami extended the reach of MGS: Peace Walker, treading onto merchandising arena with a new clothing line. The game's set to come out this November on the PS3 and Xbox 360 as part of the MGS HD Collection

Enjoy the video below. We'll continue to keep you posted on any more updates about MGS: Peace Walker, and the rest of the famed Konami franchise.

You're joking right?
Looks exactly the same as the PSP version. Try watch it in fullscreen and 720p and you'll know what I mean.

The game has better textures than the PSP version, but the whole point of this game being a part of the MGS collection is to play it on your TV when you're at home with the benefits of the PS3 controller and "transfarring" your save to your PSP when you travel. At it's heart, it is still a PSP game.

Maybe I'm being a bit too harsh but the thing is that the PSP screen is small so it can afford to lack in the texture part. I was expecting something crisper.

Although I'm curious how are they going to implement the recruiting function. A bit of a hassle if you have to bring the PS3 out with you to scan routers. :P

Thats where the "Transfarring" function comes in handy. If you have a PSP you can simply transfer your save over to it and go out to random spots and recruit soldiers. Or just do random missions and look for S ranked soldiers. Much better that way.

The graphics look just about the same but this is a PC screen after all. We wont know for sure how good it is until its out... even though this is an HD screen heh. Also, whoever is playing Big Boss right there is completely crap. Seriously.

I'm a huge Metal Gear fan, and I'm glad that so many people can play this now. But I was under the impression that this would be somewhat remastered with maybe more poly's at least. But whatever, I'm glad they're doing releasing this at all

yeah, whoever was playing that either did not care or was holding the controller upside-down.

This indeed looks just like a PSP game on a big screen. I don't really see what's so HD about this game, my PS3 can upscale DVDs to 1080p, but that doesn't make the DVDs 1080p. They didn't even bother redrawing the icons.

actually believed that they were going to upp PW to look like MGS4 then youre fcuking stupid. the textures DO look better, but they can do much provided that everything has the same number of pixels as the psp version.

seriously now if youre bitching about this then dont buy the HD collection; its brilliance would be wasted on you anyway

"HD" - High Definition is video that has resolution substantially higher than that of traditional television systems.
Now with this in mind, do you see PS1-2 SD resolution or PS3 HD resolution?

I thought the game just had clumsy controls but soon realize the player just plain sucked.
