After many months, the first gameplay footage for Walking Dead: Survival Instinct has emerged from Activision. There's no sound and it looks like it could use some polish...I mean, c'mon, the zombies have shiny hair! Other than that, as far as the gameplay goes it pretty much looks like what you'd expect out of a first-person shooter with zombies.

This is the game that puts you in control of the Dixon brothers - Merle and Daryl - as they try to make their way to the supposed safety of Atlanta amidst the outbreak. They'll be voiced by the guys who play them in the TV show, Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus, respectively. If you watch the show, you probably have gathered that this occurs before the TV show picks up. It hasn't been announced yet if any of the other characters we met in Atlanta will appear in the game.

Take a look below and be possibly underwhelmed, depending on your expectations.

But hey, the music's creepy.
