The Witcher 2 ending poses much larger events |

Considering how successful The Witcher 2 was on PC, it should be no wonder that developer CD Projekt Red are game to come up with a third installment for the franchise.
Jan Bartkowicz said that the sequel did leave a lot of questions and cliffhangers after all, so adding in another title to the series shouldn't really be that off the mark. "Consider this example, for comparison, films like Pirates of the Carribean, where the first [has a] self-contained story, the later is unchangeable, but then you think, it should be a trilogy."

"So people have a problem then. The end of The Witcher 2 is the beginning of much larger events, while The Witcher [had] rather a cliffhanger ending."
It's probably still going to be a long way before The Witcher 3 comes out, if it does, since The Witcher 2 is still under defelopment for the Xbox 360 version. On top of that, they're still set to add things to the PC version of the game, which came out back in May. The Xbox 360 version, meanwhile, is set for a yet unspecified Q1 2012 date.
The Witcher 2 demo is set to come to Gaikai as well. If you want to see some solid The Witcher 2 action on the Xbox 360, then follow this link here.
