Wow, here's one I forgot about. It's been a good 6 months+ since we've heard anything about it, but Telltale Games is moving forward with its Walking Dead game. As you can see in the rather long video below and the stills scattered about, the guys at Telltale are basing the game mostly on the comic books rather than the TV show.

It's going to have the dark, gritty, organic style of the comics, but it also looks like it will be drawing some inspiration from the show - and riding those shirt tails of course. It thankfully won't try to recreate main character Rick Grimes' story, however. You'll be playing an entirely new character whose story will overlap with some of the other characters from the comics, such as Herschel and Glenn.

Unlike most other zombie games, this one will not be all about kicking ass on some undead. Much like the source material, The Walking Dead will be about choices and humanity, or as series creator Robert Kirkman puts it, "Hugging, crying, and shit." The zombies you'll have to deal with won't be a faceless horde, but friends and relatives that don't go down so easy.

Sounds good to me if they can pull it off. Telltale has a a bit of a bad rep after their poorly-received Jurassic Park game, so my fingers are crossed.
There's no release date yet, but it will be episodic like other Telltale games and will be available on XBLA, SEN (PSN), and Steam, etc.

With this current crop of writers, it has become more like their personal blogs. If a story breaks, just tell it like it is. All we need are the facts; the rest we can work out or decide for ourselves.
This next point is not aimed at this article, but I find the use of profanities on a news site extremely unprofessional. Have you considered the number of children who probably read the stuff you write? I'm not offended by people swearing, I've been known to turn the air blue myself. Having said that, if I were a writer here, or anywhere else for that matter, I would not dream of presenting myself or the site in such a manner.
Now that I've got that out of the way, I can say that if the game is anything like the show, in terms of quality, we'll have a keeper.
