That Ex-COD Guy? He's Doing His Own Thing Now |

Former Call of Duty Creative Strategist and Community Manager Robert Bowling left Infinity Ward in March, headed for greener pastures. Most thought he'd turn up at Respawn Entertainment with all those other former COD guys, but it turns out he's thinking bigger.
Bowling has now founded Robotoki, a brand spanking new development studio. They're currently hiring and they're also set to reveal their first project later this year. Bowling says they'll be developing for consoles, PC, and mobile.
Bowling says Robotoki will create "a universe first, experiences second, and game mechanics last" and that they'll focus on creating "experiences that transcend platforms and genres and allow our players to connect to our world, their characters, and gameplay via any medium."
He also said, "Our focus is creating an experience that is no longer strictly single player, strictly co-op, or strictly multiplayer, but adapting the strengths of each of these into a unique experience that is fueled by the actions and contributions in each."
So it kinda sounds like Bowling's trying to make some sort of anti-COD, but we'll have to wait and see what they come up with.
