Team Bondi goes into Administration |
Listed in: News Tags: financial troubles, la noire, Rockstar Games, Team Bondi

I recently started playing LA Noire and I was barely into it when I heard the news that lead developers Team Bondi had gone into Administration. For those of you who don't follow economics or simply don't care, administration is when you are carefully watched so you can raise cash for the studio's creditors by either selling off assets, significantly reducing costs or even finding a buyer for the beleaguered studio. So the The Australian Securities and Investments Commission will be watching over the company to make sure it pays back all of it's money.
The company had recently had a few falling outs with Rockstar games over everything from lack of credits, pay disputes and owners of intellectual property. Suffice to say the game company was not helped by Rockstar, according to them and the game's DLC has not been left in limbo with Rockstar Leeds (a UK-based division) will be picking up the pieces that Team Bondi have sadly left behind.
According to Australian news website news.com.au, the companies Sydney headquarters are up for lease and no one's home, so whether or not this was part of the administration, I'm pretty sure we know the answer
