Sons of Anarchy Game Has "No Traction" |

When you write shows like The Shield and, more to the point, Sons of Anarchy, people might expect that you'd curse like a sailor and be appropriately abrasive. Well, Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter seems to fit that role. We heard back in May that a game based on his biker gamg-themed TV show was in the works, but right off the bat he was dubious about it, saying that it wouldn't be a "slapcrap" thing or it wouldn't get his stamp of approval.
Nowadays, he's posting multiple things on Twitter about the game-to-be. Things such as the game has "NO TRACTION," and "before you slam all parties, know that making a game is like making a movie. HUGE upfront cost. games are in decline. it's very risky."
He followed that up with, "i still don't wanna do a shitty browser game like [The Walking Dead] (sorry @glenmazzara [TWD's producer], show's awesome, game sucks). not sure what the options are."
The Walking Dead browser game was pretty cruddy by all accounts, but then Sutter took aim at a console game, saying, "as a gamer, it's my responsibility to deliver a great game. not some 1/2 promotional piece of shit like [Game of Thrones]. to do that means time/$$$."
Sons of Anarchy seems prime for an open-world, GTA type of game, and it sounds like Kurt Sutter won't sign off on anything less, which is probably for the best. What do you think about a Sons of Anarchy video game?
