Rumor: Something's Going on Deep in the Heart of Texas |

There's a rumor going around that next-gen Xboxes are being manufactured at Flextronics in Austin, Texas. Flextronics is the same company that built the previous two Xboxes.
Instead of retail models, however, these units being built in Austin are said to be debugs for devs to get working on making all those precious next-gen games.
Flextronics will not comment and of course Microsoft put out a fairly familiar statement:
"Xbox 360 has found new ways to extend its life-cycle like introducing the world to controller-free experiences with Kinect and re-inventing the console with a new dashboard and new entertainment content partnerships," the statement reads. "We are always thinking about what is next for our platform and how to continue to defy the life cycle convention. Beyond that we do not comment on rumors or speculation."
Anybody in Austin want to go peeking in some windows?
