Listed in: News Tags: retro city rampage, vblank entertainment, Xbox Live Arcade
Looking for some retro-styled fun on your Xbox 360? You can have it with Retro City Rampage, which is coming to Xbox Live Arcade just after the New Year kicks in.

Retro City Rampage parodies various titles, including the older Grand Theft Auto games, but in an 8-bit format. It was previously released for the PC, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita. Developer Vblank Entertainment has now announced that Xbox 360 owners will be able to get in on Retro City Rampage’s action beginning on January 2, 2013. The game will be available for download via Xbox Live Arcade for $15, or 1,200 Microsoft Points. Its release to WiiWare will reportedly come in January as well, although that official date has not been revealed as of yet.
Since the Xbox Live version of Retro City Rampage has had an additional month of development under its belt, players can expect a smoother experience compared to its versions for other platforms. Missions and checkpoints have been tweaked in response to user feedback, and tutorials and tip screens have been added to give players much-needed boosts through certain parts of the game.
