Resident Evil 6 has some DLC on the way, and you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on it.

On December 18, Xbox 360 owners can get Resident Evil 6’s primary expansion which will include three new multiplayer modes – Survivor, Predator, and Onslaught.  The modes can be purchased separately for $4 each or you can pick up all three for $9 total.  That handles the Xbox 360 version, but what about the PS3?  There’s no word on that release as of yet, so sit tight.

Getting back to the three new multiplayer modes, Survivor mode allows players to respawn as an enemy character when they are killed, giving them the ability to attack human players.  Predator mode allows a player to attack humans by taking on the role of Ustanak, and Onslaught pits two players against each other as they clear waves of enemies.  Onslaught was included in the DLC in place of the previously announced Siege multiplayer mode.  Whether or not Siege mode will be released in future DLC packs remains to be seen.
