Are you still kicking ass and taking names in Battlefield 3? The new era of Battlefield is not that far off, and we will get more details on it within the next two weeks.
Electronic Arts announced that they will be celebrating a “new era of Battlefield” through an event on March 26th. The Battlefield 4 event will be held in San Francisco at the 2013 Game Developers Conference, which will run from March 25-29.
Battlefield 4 was first announced in July of last year. A beta is expected this fall, and access is guaranteed to gamers who purchased Medal of Honor: Warfighter. While the Battlefield 4 reveal should certainly catch the attention of fans of the franchise, it may not be the only title of its kind in the works.
A report from last May said that Battlefield: Bad Company 3 was spotted on some LinkedIn profiles. Whether or not Bad Company 3 will be released in the near future remains to be seen, but if the LinkedIn listings mean anything, we should see something from this spinoff series as well.
