If you’re a fan of Halo 4, here’s a quick little PSA: The game’s first bit of downloadable content, the Crimson Map Pack, is now available. You can download it right now, assuming you’re not stuck at work or watching your kids or preparing for finals or some other terrible thing that keeps you away from playing video games.

Here’s what your $10 (free if you have the War Games Map Pass) will get you:

• Eight new achievements
• Three new maps
• Extraction game mode

Quick heads up from Microsoft: If you own the War Games Map Pass, make sure you download this content through whatever mechanism is built into Halo 4. If not, you’ll be charged for it despite having paid for it. So, you know, just make sure you're doing it right.
