In one of the strangest promotions going nowadays, Twisted Pixel and Microsoft are giving you a chance to win some meat by playing Ms. Splosion Man. It's a challenge called "Shoot The Glass" and if you are a US player at the top of the leaderboards you'll win some Omaha Steaks. The title is a reference to one of the best damn quotable movies of all time for my money, Die Hard, and the contest is only open to US players since receiving frozen (probably not-so-frozen by the time it got there) meat overseas would probably have some pretty effed up results.

Here's the challenge: Break 33 panes of glass as fast as you can. Every pane you miss adds 10 seconds to your time. The promo runs from today 'til February 27th and if you're at the top of the US leaderboards on that last day you'll win the "sploding meats," an Omaha Steak Filet prize pack. Actually, the top five people will each receive a healthy dose of sploding meat. Oh, the double entendre.

I haven't played Ms. Splosion Man, but I'm assuming this will be tough. And given the proclivity for most games' leaderboards to be all fucked up with the most magical scores possible (what do you mean you beat the level in 3 seconds?) it may be even harder to win your pack o' swinging meat in the mail.
