Old Ass Cabinet Game Coming to XBLA in May |
Listed in: News Tags: Digital Leisure, kinect

Dragon's Lair was a game that many children of the '80s have fond memories of. In a time when games consisted of heroes that were little pixelated blocks, here came a game that gave you control of a fully animated cartoon character that came from the mind of animator Don Bluth. I remember loving the look of it, but never having the chops to get past much of anything in the game in arcades and seeing hero Dirk the Daring's skeleton fall to pieces way too many times.
There have been some other iterations of Dragon's Lair in the past, some of which were apparently not so well received, and now we're getting it on the XBLA in May. And this version of Dragon's Lair will have optional Kinect support.
It will also have offline two-player support, Gamerpics (so always make sure you have pants on when playing it...ya never know), Avatar items, and a mode that allows you to watch the Don Bluth's animation without playing the game.
Dragon's Lair comes out May 18th on the XBLA. No price point has been attached as of yet.
