According to Cnet, who received information from two sources from inside Microsoft, Don Coyner, a leader of the design group has been ‘replaced’ by Emma Williams, another manager. She designed the new dashboard.

Previously working at Nintendo of America in marketing, he became a director of marketing for the Xbox at Microsoft from 1999 until 2001. After that he moved on to the Xbox design group leader, managing a team of 140.

The Cnet report didn’t say what he’s gone on to do, but it’s still at Microsoft, and probably Xbox related. It also noted that one of the sources claimed that the successor to the 360 will be out in 2013.

Not much info on that, but still some hard info nonetheless.
