We've seen lot of stuff in the lead up to the release of Cyanide Studios' Game of Thrones RPG, but little in the way of actual gameplay. While the still that have recently been released aren't going to go as far as a full-on gameplay trailer, they do give a hint at what gameplay will be like.

The backstory of this GoT game is that you will play as Alester the Red Priest and/or his friend Mors, a Sworn Brother of the Night Watch. Alester is of House Sarwyn, an ally of House Harlton. House Harlton's seat of power is Castlewood, where you can go for respite during your adventures in the game.

House Harlton and Castlewood have a bit of a cloud over them, as the old lord of Castlewood chose to remain loyal to the king and House Targaryen during Robert's Rebellion. Of course, once Robert Baratheon's rebellion succeeded he was executed and his brother (who was loyal to Robert Baratheon) was given his holdings.

Sound complicated? Yeah, that's Game of Thrones for ya.
