Last week there was a leak regarding something called the Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion Pack for Mass Effect 3. We weren't sure if it was for real or not and referenced a couple of things that didn't appear to make sense. Well, it was the real deal and BioWare has released the details of it.

Here's what will be in the Rebellion DLC:

• New Maps - Firebase Jade and Firebase Goddess
• New Unlockable Characters - Ex-Cerberus Adept and Vanguard (referred to as "Phoenix" in the leak), Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, and Male Quarian Infiltrator and Engineer
• New In-Mission Objective - A new objective may randomly occur during waves 3, 6, and 10 that requires your team to secure a high priority package and escort it to an extraction zone
• New Gear Slot - This new slot on the equipment screen will be for new persistent items that you can get in packs and they do not expire after a match
• New Weapons - New weapons include the Reegar Carbine, Krysae Sniper Rifle, and Cerberus Harrier

It will all be out May 29th and be completely free.
