A weapon balancing patch is on its way to Modern Warfare 3. It looks like some under-used weapons may see some more use in the weeks ahead. Here are the details:
- FAD - increased damage and range
- AK47 - reduced kick
- M16A4 - increased damage and fire rate
- UMP45 - increased damage
- PM9 - reduced kick
- MP5 - increased fire rate
On top of this, the Terminal map from Modern Warfare 2 is coming to MW3 (totally free of charge) and it's getting a patch as soon as it comes out to ensure that it's lag-free for everyone. Yay!
Finally, Activision is reporting that their Call of Duty: Elite service has over 12 million users, 2.3 million of which pay for it. On the other hand, their overall DLC sales are down.
