It's been quite a while since we heard a peep about Bungie's new franchise that they've been working on since they handed Halo over to 343 Industries. We'd heard through a variety of means that it was called Destiny and that it would be some sort of MMOFPS. And that was about it for a year.
Now the lawsuit between Activision and those two ex-IW guys has caused some of Activision's documents to go public, revealing some details about Destiny. First, the contract says that Destiny will launch in fall of 2013. It also says that Bungie and Activision have signed up for a four game deal, with a new game in the franchise coming out every other year from 2013-2019. There will also be expansions called "Comets" that will be out in the midst of all this, coming out in 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020. There will be other DLC as well.
The lead platform for Destiny will be the Xbox 360, but the contract also refers to developing for that console's successor (called "Xbox 720" in the contract). The first Destiny game will be available for the PS3 in 2014.
Bungie kind of confirmed the news, saying, "Well, that just happened..." before elaborating a bit. "So, yeah. While we're not ready to show you what we've been working on, we can reconfirm that we are hard at work on our new universe. We can't wait for you to see it. See you starside in 2013."

Halo kinda sucked though. So maybe you meant they only made one BAD game (series)?

The only bad games in the series(in my opinion) were ODST and Reach.
I agree that the other games were good though.
