So apparently Microsoft was taken unawares by Sony's PS4 presentation a couple days ago. Now reeling, word is they're going to announce their new toy this coming April. At least that's what "a growing number of developers and other industry professionals" are saying. 

One person from Sony said that they believe they "caught Microsoft off guard" and that their reveal had "ruffled some feathers." Somehow, MS missed the fact that the PS4 was going to be revealed on Wednesday? OK.

Of course, Microsoft has yet to comment and in fact they act like they're not even working on a new Xbox. Whether this report is accurate or not, Sony has upped the ante and Microsoft may in fact mock something up for presentation sooner rather than later. I guess all we can do is wait and see, and hope Microsoft opens up about something sometime soon.
