Microsoft Confirms Free Xbox Live Gold Weekend

If you live in the United States, have a Xbox 360 and broadband access, and want to give Xbox Live a try, you are in luck! From March 31 through April 2 Verizon is sponsoring a Free Xbox Live Gold Weekend. Not only does this mean gamers will have 72 hours of multiplayer gaming online, but there will also be tons of prizes, contests, and other surprises.

Was reading on the site, that is the next promotion so that should be after the free weekend. Even if its only 500 points, I will be pissed if its some sort of giveaway for people that sign up for agreements for there services of some sort. Since I got nearly everything through Verizon. Verzion FIOS, Verizon Wireless & Verizon home phone services =).

You need to remember that MS owes you nothing. You paid for a $300-400 console that costs them much more. You already got what you paid for so now you just wait for games you want and buy them just like every other console ever made. If you pay for xbox live, you are paying to play online and use the other functionality of Live. I will repeat, you have gotten what you payed for and MS owes you nothing. This is not directed at a peticular person, just a statement to all who wish to wine about not getting anything for free.

Well of corse they dont owe me anything, i dont expect them to. They are a corperation whos perpose is to make money, any time i can get something free from them, i take advantage. (And yes, i did sign up for the free USB drive too xD)

And also MS was giving away 48hours or a weekend I noticed when I bought Ghost Recon the other day. Hey If I want I'll pay for it. Call it greed ,Call it materials with fun. I don't care.
