According to Zhang, the Chinese launch, if all goes well, should come to fruition, in the next few years. Okay, so it's still pretty much up in the air at this point, but it's comforting to know that Microsoft is already working out the kinks to make it happen.

How possible is this to finally happen? Well, as he pointed out, the hardware is actually made in China anyway, so this should give it a bit more leeway to have the final product actually being sold in the country. He also provides as selling points the "powerful functions" of the console, such as for education, medicinal technology, and even community services. He also stressed that there are a lot of family-oriented games on the Xbox than just "killing titles".

Let's see if anything comes of it. If this does pan out well, then Microsoft would have hit the jackpot, considering how massive the Chinese gaming market is.

Microsoft has been confident in saying that their first party output has been far superior to the PS3 and Wii thus far.
