Metal Gear Rising Goes Wrong At E3

Yes yes yes. I’ve been waiting for Depeche Mode to be used in a Metal Gear trailer (odd, but true), and Platinum Games have finally delivered on that for this year's E3 with their latest Revengeance trailer.

 

The song, appropriately, is the dark ‘Wrong’, and the trailer is indeed dark and wrong, with blood, anger and some slow throat slicing. You can watch the it below.

 

 

 

Now that Konami’s E3 press conference has done its thing, we can be sure to see many more trailers and whatnot hitting the internets, but this, combined with the recent announcement of a Metal Gear Rising demo being bundled with Zone Of The Enders HD, along with the ZOE HD cinematic, make me a happy enough bunny for now.

 

What do you think about Rising as we see more of it? It’s not very Metal Gear Solid-like in tone or style, but the gameplay looks sweet and stylized.

well it will be interesting to see what they changed after konami dumped the project and the other company took it over, i remember reading that kojima wasnt happy about taking off that cut everything engine, like in the first demo videos back last year...

like a mix of Resident Evil, GTA and Metal Gear. Oh i don't know my above comment was from previous footage. This trailer makes it look more interesting. I suppose I will just have to wait a baby growing length to find out.

ruining the series! the game play in mgs4 was absolutely solid, why change that so much? i will be buying it, only to follow the plot line from the looks of it cant say that ill enjoy it
