We have to check in every so often to make sure, but yes, Mass Effect 3's multiplayer is still seeing some traffic and they're still holding these events. And with a new free expansion on the horizon, it looks like it's not going anywhere anytime soon. This weekend is Operation: Overdrive and here's the blurb, "Based on intel recovered during Operation PATRIOT, we are anticipating a massive strike from the Reapers on multiple fronts. Our information officers and special ops teams stationed behind enemy lines require immediate extraction."

Patriot was last weekend's event, apparently. Anyway, this week's Squad Goal is to achieve full extraction on any map on any difficulty in 20 minutes or less. The Allied Goal is to complete 200,000 waves on any difficulty. Extraction is not required for this one.

As always, completing the Squad Goal gets you a Commendation Pack and the Allied Goal gets everyone a Victory Pack.

Overdrive starts today and runs through Sunday, October 7th.
