Capcom has released a minor patch update for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in preparation for the upcoming Event Mode that will be added in the game this Friday.

Tagged as patched 1.2, the latest update, now available as soon as you load up your game, introduces a number of changes and improvements including a drastic change in Sentinel's health, which according to reports, has been dropped from 1.3 million units to 905,000. Here's the whole changes so far, as reported by the folks at Shoryuken.

• Sentinel's health is now 905,000, down from 1,300,000.
• The Haggar/Spencer freeze glitch is fixed.
• The Spencer loop shown in this video is gone.
• Hitstun deterioration on Akuma's air Tatsu is now more severe, preventing his infinite.
• This update sets the game up for the new Event mode.

The Event Mode go live this Friday, March 25, and will contains a series of special challenges. By completing these challenges, players can unlock various titles and more.
