Magneto Skin Pulled from UMvC 3 DLC Due to Spanish King Resemblance

Apparently, outmoded monarchs from days of yore still carry a little power; they can get characters pulled from video games. Capcom has confirmed on the Capcom-Unity Blog that they have pulled the House of M skin from Ancient Warriors, which also features Hulk's "Planet Hulk" outfit, new outfits for Arthur, and more armor for Firebrand. It was supposed to be 320 MSP (or $4.00), but now the price will be reduced because of the removal of the Magneto skin.

 

This has to be one of the dumbest things to ever happen in video game news, but to be fair the House of M outfit looks exactly like the king's. Check out the pic at Shoryuken. I don't think it's a stretch to say it's a direct lift, but really...who cares?

 

The Ancient Warriors Pack will be released on March 6, 2012 in the US and the following day in the UK.

good,those fks at capcom should give sailor moon outfits instead of using political figures, if thats the case put dictators outfit on the characters like make hulk ware osama bin laden outfit and give him the goat beard or the persona character a hitler outfit etc or woverine a pope outfit to symbolize that episode that his in church reading and praying with the bible, its not that it looks like they are using the outfit they didnt think about it it was there to begin with ...

As in SMT: Persona by Atlus??

If so that just might work seeing as he was in one of the games.

ALL this is, is Capcom trying to make some waves to try to get sales up for the holiday season..They knew what they were doing. Really reatarded! make an outfit just to have it puled and then the DLC doesnt come out until March. Dont reduce the rate just design a new outfit!!!
