Madden 12 announcement looming |

EA Sports has formally announced that a teaser trailer for Madden 12 will be shown early in this upcoming week. The trailer will show off some new features that the game will incorporate.
The cover athlete for Madden 12 has yet to be decided, but if history has told us anything, it will either be Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers or League MVP Tom Brady. EA may even let fans vote on the cover athlete, as they have said "Big, perhaps reassuring, news coming Monday and you’re all involved….you won’t want to miss this," concerning the announcement.
With an NFL lockout underway and the decertified player's union set to take the battle with the owners to the courts, EA Sports is surely aware that their consumer base may be confused if Madden 12 will even release. EA will probably try and get fans excited for the release of Madden 12 by reminding them that this may be the only football they can get for the upcoming year.
