Surprise, surprise, Black Ops 2 is breaking records. Amazon says that the pre-orders for the game on day one are already three times higher than its predecessor, Black Ops, which came out in 2010.

"Set to be one of the biggest games of the year, it's great to see so much enthusiasm and anticipation for Call of Duty: Black Ops II," said Graham Chambers, the video games manager of Amazon UK. "Bolder and better than before and with everything from a futuristic storyline through to single player mode, Zombies and multiplayer, Black Ops II promises something Call of Duty fans have never seen before."

Of course, if it's something "Call of Duty fans have never seen before" most will probably hate it. Your mileage may vary, of course.

So will it really be something we've "never seen before" or more of the same? Either way, a whole lotta folks are gonna be playing it.

I wonder if there is going to be theft and such related to Black Ops 2 just like there where for the original Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3

Time to round up the Sheep again, and hopefully this time EA can get their Wolf suit on and get BF to round up some more of the flock.

What is wrong with people? Pre ordering to begin with is retarded (unless you get a bonus worth having.) Do you really think they are going to sell out of anything these days? I can't believe how many people buy into this $120 a year map pack crap. Its just frustrating. People bitch and bitch yet run back in droves like lemmings to the same old crap. There are plenty of games out there. Try playing something new...

I mean are they just trying to see how unoriginal they can get while making massive amounts of money?

Prozac, it's $50 a year for all the DLC on the year. Not $120. And it's no worse than the monthly fees people pay for XBox Live or World of Warcraft.

People disgust me. CoD players are dirt. Lower class imitation gamers. It can't crash soon enough and I'm going to guess since orders don't need to be picked up that it's a stunt by Activision.

Just going to say, the amount of disliked comments on this article is astounding.
Perhaps, you know, the players actually LIKE the game?

There's nothing wrong with the game really, but it's a bit like going out to buy a computer because you know you got Mac and Linux to choose from but you know Windows is the only real choice because that's where everyone else is, and as long as CoD is selling they not gonna make any effort or risks to bring it up to the standard of the competition, so it's just gonna be like sports games and have tiny changes each time.

What keeps people coming back is the game making players think they are good at shooting games and lots of explosions. Anything that is made easier will draw many people to it. The game practically points the gun at the enemy for you, has a sticky reticule, and low recoil for many guns.

Call Of Duty is one of the main reasons gamings in the toilet..

People buy "franchises" but good games like Sonic Generations or Crysis 2 or Dead Island never stand a chance because these people who swear "THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER" will sit on their fat asses and play this. The reason why WoW does so well is because they don't force you to buy a new game and create a new character with it. Just sell it as DLC and thats all. They could have done it with MW3 but NOOOOO... why sell something for 30 when you can sell it for 60. Same with the movie industry.. Why make 1 Harry Potter movie instead of a 2 part ending. Twilight is following suit. This world is sickening and yearly releases are whats ruining the gaming industry. What they think is saving it is whats really ruining it. You don't see a yearly Elder Scrolls or Fallout or Fable or even GTA V they may have a lot of them out but they do at least take their time and make it right. Sleeping Dogs might suffer the same effects as well as the new Hitman. THEY ARENT YEARLY RELEASES AND THAT MUST MEAN WE BUY FAG OF DUTY: GAY OPS 2....

Fuck the industry we the people of this planet need to unite and take back this planet from the fascist fuckers who run it.

I never bought the Madden football games. Every year one oft friends would have to buy the new version & that's all he played for months. And guess what I didn't give him a hard time. And I never clicked a news link about it either.

I'm reading this story cause I like Call of Duty. I think it's a fun game. I also like Uncharted, Motorstorm, Skyrim.

If you don't like COD don't play it. And saying that COD is ruining the gaming industry is lame. In any GameStop there are Many other games available. So - stop Hating & just play the game u like! Geesh.
