Echo Evolution from our forums has emailed us about his recent purchase of a Japanese Xbox 360 in Hong Kong, a day before it was released. Japan only received premium systems, so naturally he got that one as well. He noted that unlike the USA consoles having 13GB free space, the Japanese Xbox 360 only came with 11GB free. However, I think it is a fair trade that the Japanese premium systems came bundled with Square Enix’s FFXI beta, don’t you?

Hi, Echo Evolution from QJ.net forums. Although its a good thing the Japanese Systems came with the FFXI Online Beta. But for me, the vexing part is that I cannot read japanese, and the whole pre-game interface is in japanese. I think you have to register or somthing before playing, and in the manual, it gave me 2 serial numbers for something, which I don't know cause I can't read japanese.

One serial number is probably for a PlayOnline account and the other for your FFXI content ID. Atleast that's how it is on the PC and PS2 versions.
