Whether you plan on voting of Barack Obama or Mitt Romney, the kind people over at Microsoft are encouraging you to become a part of the action. In the past, we have discussed the new Election Hub on Xbox Live, but with tonight's debate just hours away, that little add-on could be no more important. Thanks to the recent technological innovation brought on by this leading console maker, you'll be able to engage with other users across the nation on an instantaneous basis as soon as the election begins.

In a service exclusive to Xbox Live Gold members, users will be able to interact with the major part of the debate through a selection of polls regarding each candidate's performance. As new questions are asked, new polls are added to update with what is happening during the live coverage of the debate. Of course, as an Xbox Live subscriber, one interesting little tidbit is that you will also be able to see the results of these polls as well. Will they give you an accurate representation of which way our country might be leaning in the future? Probably not, but at least you can see what side of the fence all your gamer buddies seem to be falling on.
Another interesting part of this experience is that users are also encouraged to submit their own questions to be asked during the polling sessions. If you have a particular issue you would like to bring forward, you're more than welcome to submit your inquiry by using #XboxPoll on your Twitter account. If you are not already aware, the debate begins at 9PM EDT and will be the first of four (including one vice-presidential debate) to be streamed on the election hub. As an added incentive, watching three of these four will get you a free Halo 4 Warrior Armor avatar.
As with any political article, please do your best to keep any comments as civilized as possible. Happy election to all of you!

I actually took my time and heard each side, surprisingly I liked Romney's vision but the majority still preferred Obama for whatever reason.
Wish Ron Paul would become America's president but it doesn't look like a possibility.
