Much of Injustice: Gods Among Us shown at E3 was at closed door meetings and the like, but a lot of that came out over the weeked at EVO 2012, such as the footage below. It's actual gameplay footage narrated by Creative Director Ed Boon.

It features The Flash and Superman fighting in the Batcave and Solomon Grundy and Batman duking it out in Future City. Boon shows off the game's environmental features and multi-levels and talks about the different classes of characters. Characters like Superman and Solomon Grundy are "power" characters, while characters like The Flash and (obviously) Batman are "gadget" characters.

In addition to the above characters, so far we also have Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn in the game, but as you can see in the video there are 18 more slots to be filled with other DC Comics characters. It will certainly be a who's-who of DC Comics superheroes and villains, though maybe not Aquaman. That guy can't catch a break.

Injustice: Gods Among Us will be out next year sometime. Is anyone looking forward to this more realistic approach to a superhero fighting game?  Are there more DC Comics superheroes you would like to see added?
