Capcom and From Software have put out some videos detailing the awards you'll get if you pre-order Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor from Amazon, Gamestop, or Best Buy. It should come as no surprise that they're all about armoring up your mech, though there are some other benefits as well. Like those nifty animal print skins, which go great with your throw pillows from the '70s.
If you pre-order from Amazon, you get the Carbon Assassin Armory, featuring the Storm and Savannah armors and a boost to range and bullet velocity, respectively.
If you pre-order from Best Buy, you get the Chrome Blitzer Armory, featuring the Tiger and Impact armors, with a boost to destructive power and turning speed, respectively.
If you pre-order from Gamestop, you'll get the Iron Guardian Armory, featuring the Jaguar and Rock armors, with a boost to speed and defensive power, respectively.
This all looks great and all, but keep in mind that this is a Kinect title. So who knows how it will turn out.
Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor will be out June 19th.
